for
More than anything, I want to make a better life for my children, my grandchildren, and those that will come long after us that I will never meet. We therefore need reliable, sensible, and fiscally responsible government now, to preserve the future.
I believe my professional expertise in government finance, dedication to the community my family calls home, my love for God and my family, and my commitment to freedom and truth make me the ideal candidate for the treasurer position.
We are all inheritors of a long-standing and hallowed tradition of American Constitutional governance.
Political service must be performed by people with a knowledge of and deep respect for our unique American culture and who vow to uphold the traditions of representative government, and not use government as a means to promote themselves or their interest in power.
We As a historian, I know that government will never solve our problems and excessive meddling in citizens’ lives only creates fiscal burdens and cultural trouble.
Government has a role to play, but it must be managed in a responsible, professional, and serious manner by dedicated people who adhere to Constitutional principles, or it will drift and falter.
I will honor and protect our freedoms through thoughtful, limited, and responsible government.
I believe that elected government service should be a temporary job, not a long term career.
In our nation, the elected representative is responsible for representing the people in their interest inside the government.
I am an experienced, professional financial manager with almost thirty years of government and non-profit supervisory financial management experience.
I have worked at every level of government and am acutely familiar with government financial responsibilities and audit requirements.
I believe in the fundamental right of parents to educate their children as they choose. We homeschool our children. I fully support the current Michigan homeschool laws that protect the freedom of responsible homeschool families to educate their children without government interference. I also support the rights of parent to choose private or public school for their children.
